1. How did you manage to be on the road for the most part of the season and still manage to obtain a perfect 4.0 average?
DS - "I just do it! To me academics are more important than athletics so I study on the bus and in between games... just as much as possible."

2. How does it feel contributing your time to the community in the several projects you have done with the volleyball team?
DS - "Great! I love it! It's so much fun especially when we got to help to build a house."

3. Looking at the season so far, how do you feel the season will end?
DS - "Since we've had a rough season, we are trying a new offense. We are working on new things and anything that may be best. We are also getting ready for next year."

4. Last season, you set all these records within the team; do you feel that you will do better this season than last season?
DS - "As a freshman coming in, it was the sky's the limit kind of thing for me. I didn't know what to expect, and this season, it's just keeping focused."

5. How do you feel your game has improved since last season?
DS - "Tremendous, especially in transition. Last spring was really helpful because I worked on the little things I needed help in."

6. Do you feel a lot of pressure as middle blocker now that Stephanie Redd and Danielle Holthe are no longer by your side?
DS - "Not too much... I did look up to them."

7. How would you describe yourself as a player?
DS - "Aggressive, tall and loud."

8. What goals do you wish to accomplish by the time you become a senior?
DS - "I want to set a whole lot of blocking records and have winning seasons. I would also want to make program history. I want to be numero uno!"

9. What is your usual routine on game day? Anything special that you do before the game besides warm-up?
DS - "Smoothie from the Student Union with an energy boost, and I listen to a certain play list on my Ipod."

10. How important is it for you and your team mates to communicate?
DS - "Most important... communication is the key on and off the court."

1. What is the first thing that you pack when going on the road?
DS - School stuff like my books

2. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word quirky?
DS - Romano or champagne

3. What was the first thing you missed about your home back in Diamond Bar?
DS - Zero percent humidity

4. What would be the first thing you bought if you won the lottery?
DS - Giant trampoline... I would get like 50 billion of them and just jump around all day.

5. What is the first thing that comes to mind when your alarm clock goes off in the morning?
DS - Toast and Jelly

6. What was the last book you read that wasn't required for class?
DS - Skin Deep

7. What was the last match you remember that you couldn't wait to play in?
DS - USC

8. What was the last movie you watched, but hated?
DS - Airbud Spikes Back

9. What was the last job you had and actually liked?
DS - Texas Roadhouse

10. When was the last time you had a mango?
DS - About eight hours ago

DS - I can't really think of any.

DS - I don't see bad movies

DS - Cost of living

DS - The humidity

DS - A purple pterodactyl

2. If you had to choose one form of entertainment to take with you on a deserted island, what would you take?
DS - Music

3. If you could go by another alias, what would you go by?
DS - Starla Rasputin or Mango

4. If you ruled your own country, what would you call it?
DS - Splindeforis or Howbowjadebe

5. If you could have the Statue of Liberty in any other location, where would you place her?
DS - Somewhere in Tennessee

6. If you got the chance to sing on American Idol, what song would you choose to sing?
DS - "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leppard

7. If you could be any color, what color would you be?
DS - Macaroni Yellow or Ninja Turtle Green

8. If you could make your own sitcom, what would it be about?
DS - It would be about a girl who got shrunk by a shrinking ray and got stuck in a toilet. She eventually gets out and is handicapped by the toilet.

9. If you could have your own anthem, what song would you choose?
DS - "The World is Not Enough" by Garbage

10. If you were granted three wishes from a genie, what would they be?
DS - I would wish for world peace, genuine happiness, and control of time so I could do what I want, when I want, pause the moments I love, fast forward through stuff I don't really like and rewind so I could do it all over again.
